Looking for a flight Manchester to Houston that I can book on AVIOS. I am aware of BA options via LHR but looking to see if there are any other AVIOS indirect options from Manchester ? Thanks
Neither EI or IB fly to Houston, so alternative routes on a 241 are out. AY also don’t do it, but QR might give you a fairly roundabout route for it?
OP may not be using a 241, but pickings are still slim.
I think this used to be possible (Singapore Airlines?) but the route was pulled recently.
I think your only option apart from BA would be to try and get to one of the Aer Lingus-served airports (JFK and MCO possibly the only ones, I think BOS never got off the ground?), then connect on AA if possible. Though I think AA is more likely to fly into DFW?
All on one booking though (with the MAN-LHR leg being free, don’t forget), your best option probably is BA via LHR.
A good illustration of how limited MAN services going west are.
Looks like JetBlue fly JFK-IAH, am I right in thinking you can use avios via QR or something similarly obscure?!
You don’t mention cabins, but anything other than economy redemptions on EI are quite difficult to come by.
Thanks both. For this trip Economy is absolutely fine. For my 16 year old daughter. No 241 needed. I was just trying to avoid LHR for her but I do think LHR is probably best option and would struggle to get alternatives at the same AVIOS price. I was just checking if anyone knows any better options
