I signed player 2 up for the 24k sign up for referrals..

She already had a MR card,
However on the new MR she has the bar showing how much spend left to get the sign up bonus on current card.

Does that mean she’ll get the bonus if the progress bar is there ?

If the new card is the BAPP (and P2 hasn’t had a BA Amex in the last 2 years), then yes, eligible for the SUB.

However, it sounds like the new card is MR enrolled in which case she *shouldn’t* get a SUB and don’t get too excited by seeing a spend tracker.

Remember that holding a supplementary card doesn’t count as having a card as far as qualifying for a SUB goes.

If a new MR account has been opened by Amex, it’s possible they haven’t spotted her history and that she will get the bonus.

This is similiar to my situation, just got the Preferred Rewards Gold card and in the app it says if I spend £3000 in the next 3 months I recieve the welcome bonus of 20,000 points. However, I didn’t think I would be eligible for the welcome offer since I already have the Platinum Cashback Everyday card. Don’t really want to contact Amex to clarify though incase they remove it!
