Hi, is anyone else in the same boat? I upgraded by BA Amex to the BAPP and managed to hit my spend target of £10,000 on the 31st of October. I am yet to receive my companion voucher despite various agents on the app chat confirming that I had hit my target. A few days ago on chasing with the agent again they mentioned the following “I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. Yes, there are approximately 3k card members that are affected and we are working to have it resolved. For now, no action is required from you and we will let you know once this is fixed. Kindly check your email for communication directly from us”.
I haven’t received any communication from AMEX in my emails and we’re closer to December than when I hit the threshold – is anyone else in the same boat and how much longer should I wait?
Thank you for this link! I’ve taken the advice of others and rung the customer service team who agree I’ve hit the threshold and will raise a complaint number and I should hear something in a few days.
