    I notice an oddity, whilst linking the accounts.
    BA asked me “enter” my phone number so that they can send a code. I don’t know what would happen if I enter a different number rather than the one they have. I hope they are not that dumb to send a TFA code to a new number just like that..

    yesterday, I (tried to) dealt with my wife’s Qatar account to transfer the miles to BAEC. She was downstairs, I logged in with her phone number, ran downstairs and got the code. But, I couldn’t link the account — middle name problem.
    I wanted to try again today. This time they sent a code directly to her number — the number I entered yesterday. So if I entered someone else’s number yesterday, it’d stuck and they’d send a code to that number, it seems.

    As a wise man once eloquently put it, do not overestimate the BA IT.
