Hi.
Every month I am able to use a £10 reward in my NatWest Premier rewards for 1170 BA Avios points. Is this good value?
Thanks
Yes, usually if spending on business or First.
If you can convert every two months there is a slightly better return (2350 Avios for £20 it is the sweet spot) , so I do that myself
You’re essentially buying Avios for 0.85p and it’s easy to get >1p, so that is decent. Maybe 0.9p is a fairer value as you can convert rewards to other partners with a few % payback.
They convert instantly so might make more sense to leave the balance as Rewards and only convert when you need it – this gives flexibility which is valuable.
Has this been working for people recently?
Last month I requested a voucher and the part of thr email that should contain the code was blank. I have contaxted Natwest and they have confirmed that there is an issue but they havent offered a timescale of when it will be fixed. I also don’t want to request another voucher if the error is still occuring.
I requested avios evouchers on the 3rd October, but haven’t received anything yet.
Phoned NatWest last week and was told it would be sorted within 2 working days, put in a formal complaint today.
Haven’t tried redeeming for a little while…

This is interesting, thanks. So it looks like they still have problems and are delaying the emails containing the voucher code. As I seem to remember emails coming through almost instantly before.
So, the complaints team have phoned me, just 24 hours after submitting the online complaint.
They admitted they are having problems with redeeming MyRewards, not just limited to avios redemptions.
They’ve essentially deposited the missing MyRewards in to my current account and given me some compensation (without asking)
So, if you’ve got missing avios evouchers from MyRewards, I’d submit an online complaint form
Slightly off topic – is there a switching incentive to move over to NatWest Premier Rewards?
