Forums Frequent flyer programs Virgin Flying Club Neo Logic – Upper Class – “Seat Craft”

OK so bear with me lol – “seat craft”

If you look at a regular VA Upper Class plane layout – first row seat 1G in the middle is closed to reservations as its a bassinet seat for infants = no problem.

However, on the NEO, none of the UC seats are closed off at this point and no sign of bassinet locations for first row of seats.

Do we book seats 1A / 1K as they are the only first row ones bookable?

The other 2 seats on the first row are the “suite” seats.

My thinking is that they may need “my” 1A / 1K for an infant so they may move me into the “suite” lol

The suite would be close to those kids though so would it even be worth it?

And, knowing my luck, they’d put the kids in the suite and Id still have a great UC seat but right next to them without any benefit lol

people at the back have no idea the struggles faced in UC have they.

We always tend to pick mid row, away from front and rear toilets/Galleys. This also (sometimes) gets you of the aircraft a little quicker if catching a connection. But I understand your dilemma, problems, problems, problems.

I would not play ‘bassinet roulette’. You could be separated, with one of you sat next to a solo mum/dad and baby. I’ve been ‘that’ parent and it’s no fun for the passengers who get to share the close-quarters crying.
