I used my abroad credit in march in hong kong but it still appears in my saved offers. Has anyone successfully received 2 x credits?
I think it keeps saved until the end of 2024, but can only be used once a calendar year.
Thanks – so although its used it still appears in everyone’s saved offers?
Nice to see another dining option has just appeared for Brighton – the Chilli Pickle on Jubilee Street

Have been a couple of times in the past and always enjoyed it.Thanks – so although its used it still appears in everyone’s saved offers?
Yes, they appear in mine throughout.
Any recommendations for casual dining in London? The Ivy (both Granary Square Brasserie and Ivy Chelsea) has been so underwhelming that I can’t imagine returning any time soon.
Has anyone got any recommendations for NYC restaurants on Global Dining Credit with an infant (3.5 months)? We’d be going for brunch/lunch.

Depends on what you mean by casual. Ninth in Fitzrovia is excellent, good value and pretty relaxed for a Michelin restaurant.

We used our credit at Robert De Niro’s Tribeca Grill in Janaury. Pretty good all round and not too expensive for NYC.
Have two options for next year, or so I thought, Hong Kong or Canada/USA. Only in Hong Kong for 2 nights so I thought I’d leave it for the second trip, which is Victoria, cruise to Hawaii and then road trip from SF to San Diego. Very glad I checked because the only option on the second trip was Los Angeles which I was planning on avoiding, so looks like Hong Kong, current favourite seems like Man Wah for lunch unless anyone has any must do recommendations? We are staying at the Conrad.

Man Wah is in the Mandarin with superb food and views.
Apologies if this has been answered in the previous 24 pages, but I’m considering applying for the UK Platinum card and am wondering how long after receiving the card you can utilise the dining credit?
Mine got added as an offer in the offers tab about four days after getting the card

Many thanks! 🙂
I’m not going to make it to any of the destinations where they have the credit abroad. Does anyone know if you can use this in the UK instead?
Ivy Asia St Paul’s is on the list but the other two Ivy Asia restaurants aren’t. I imagine I have answered my own question, but I assume I won’t get the credit at either of the others? [Am aware I could always purchase a gift card at a participating branch first]
Likewise in Cardiff (where The Ivy is the only participating restaurant in Wales) – I plan to put £150 on a gift card at The Ivy, then walk next door to Ivy Asia to spend it.
Did this work? ie Buying a gift card to trigger the Statement credit? I am thinking of doing the same in Leeds.
Thanks to everyone here. Had the lunch at the Gymkhana yesterday and it was very nice. Gotan email from.Amex confirming that I’ve used the offer
I still have around £35 left out of the £150 and have to think of a next option now.

Yes it works! I did this in Leeds -purchased the gift card from the Ivy. Then I took it with me to pay my bill at Ivy Asia next door! 😬
Cannot fault Kahani visited few times across our two cards.

+1 Loved it. Across two cards, the 6 course tasting menu for 4 of us was the loveliest ‘free’ meal we had this year as voted by both of us oldies and our twentysomething kids.
(and avoid Umm Beach House, Portals Nous, Mallorca which is the only dining credit option on the island, it was absolutely the worst service and food in a pretty setting)

Late reply but we stayed at the Conrad in March and loved it
We used our dining credit in Mott 32 and thought the food was great but no views. The peking duck was outstanding and service and presentation was amazingThanks to everyone here. Had the lunch at the Gymkhana yesterday and it was very nice. Gotan email from.Amex confirming that I’ve used the offer

Vermút and tortilla sitting at the bar (walk-ins) at Sabor!
