in October I’m going to bkk and Hong Kong staying in Marriott Hotels. currently I’m on 68 nights and a plat member… I have 2 nights booked in the w Bangkok then I’m straight to Hong Kong for a week at the Mira Hong Kong…
usually my stays/points have posted very quickly (24-48 hours ).. if this is true to form for the w Bangkok… whilst I’m in the Mira Hong Kong my status will hopefully change to titanium… so what will happen about point earning at the Mira… when I checkin ill be plat however when checking out ill be titanium… will I get titanium elite bonus points etc or plat ?
advice appreciated
You need 75 nights for titanium, not 70 (unless you take 5 nights as your 50 night reward?). However, you get the property benefits of the status you hold at check in, but the points that credit will be based on the status you hold when the stay is processed 24 to 48 hours after check out, so titanium points in this case
