Just booked a 241 Madeira trip from Gatwick ☹️. Shame it’s changed from LHR. As Gold we have been seated in 1a/c. On looking at the plan , the seats d/f have been replaced with ‘dining cutlery’ motif and are obviously not in circulation. I’m wondering if seats 1a/c are directly at the door with no partition. Anyone know?
I’m sorely tempted to move back a row . Advice? BA 2717/8 next March.
Correct directly at the door and no partition but that means they have plenty of leg room and on take off and landing you can see the crew and listen to all the gossip!
I’ve sat in those seat and would rather have the extra leg room.
If I was to move back it would be to 2 D/F so no one can recline into your space.
Thanks for that. I’ve opted for one of each! 2d/f out and 1a/c in!
I’m another fan of the partition free front half-row, huge leg room, enjoy the luxury. It’s also easier to catch the cabin crew’s attention to top up the bubbly.
I’ve bagged 1A/C both ways for an upcoming ACE flight and pleased to see one leg is bulkhead free 🙂
