Hello,
Plumbing the collective wisdom! I happen to be connecting at T5 whilst a cousin is travelling out in F. I’m a lowly bronze currently (thanks to work’s covid travel policy). I know she can guest me in to the CCR but her flight is leaving 2:20 before mine.
My query is – how does guesting in this situation work? Is my boarding pass entered in the system so I can leave and re-enter? What if I dropped my hand baggage off and nipped in to duty free etc? Could I access the flounge if I wanted after she’s gone?
Wisdom gratefully received!
You won’t get back in again if they check your boarding pass. You may be fine if your cousin has a quiet word with lounge attendant on entry or if when you pop out you tell attendant you are a guest who will be back in a couple of minutes & they are still on the desk when you get back.
Otherwise can you not get your duty free sorted while they are in the lounge & make sure you are back in before they need to leave?
