Does anyone know how to assess or find out the renewal date for the voucher spending to trigger?

If you can’t calculate it from your statements, checking when your card fee was taken is a good indicator. It depends how precise you want to be though! I just remember I opened the card in October and calculate the start of my spend from the end of the month.

I have. Checked all spend and should be due another I think. Last one in April 22. But that might be the time from anniversary spend. I’ll have another go at analysing the monthly spend from the fee payment date before calling!

    Thanks!

    Maximum one every 12 months.
When you have spent the required amount it should show on your statement.

Seems the renewal date is the start point for collection/spending. Hence I got one last April but not yet! All amex fault!

I too am baffled by my Virgin vouchers. Pretty sure I have one expiring this summer but I’ve little expectation or interest in ever flying with them. The points however are fantastic for SkyTeam use.

Anyway, Roy what is that mention you make of Amex being at fault? I feel I’m missing something.

I’m confused with this, my very first statement with Virgin was raised on 19/08/2018 and the fee applied on 19/08/18 for Statement period: 18/07/2018 – 19/08/2018.

My latest annual fee was charged on 19/07/23. I spent the required £10k over 3 days, 27/07,30/07 and 01/08/23 and it shows on my 20/08/23 statement for period: 20/07/2023 – 20/08/2023.

Did i spend the £10k within last years 22/23 card year or 23/24 card year?

Well that is annoying. Just chatted to Virgin Money who confirmed my card anniversary date is 19/07 each year. Even more annoying i could have bought the spending forward had i of thought about it sooner. Argh!!
