I have used BAPP 2-4-1’s to get to Sydney multiple times and I think I know most of the tricks, including booking at 355 days; and then making a separate return booking and having BA credit 50% of Avios back while keeping 2 PNRs
On my next trip I want to spent some time in HKG. I was planning get to SYD via Qantas/Cathay using Avios. Then it occurred to me to go via SIN (stopping over for a couple of days), hoping to use the 2-4-1 on the SIN>SYD leg; and the again on the return to LHR
Does anyone know what the TCs say about this possibility; or have any experience in getting it booked? Does it fit within open jaw rules?
I do appreciate availability is limited, but I’m wiling to be up a midnight to try and secure the bookings plus I’m pretty flexible
I did something similar, and open jaw SIN out HKG back worked fine for me. Call to book.

That’s diff to what OP is asking for? Id be amazed if OP’s request is ticketed using a 241.
Re-reading the OPs post, i’m confused now!
If its LHR – SYD ; HKG – LHR the “jaw” is 4581 miles, which narrowly makes it inside open jaw rules. If thats all on BA thats in scope for a companion voucher.
LHR – SIN and HKG – LHR is also ok.
Adding in legs with other carriers like Qantas is not possible and must be booked separately.
