Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club Using Avios for domestic AA flights

If I search for flights between two US airport served by BA, I get the message “No Flights Found. How can I use Avios if BA can’t find the flights? What am I missing?

Is there any availability for other partners on the date/route you are looking at (eg Qatar, Cathay?)

There might be no availability on the route, also BA doesn’t have access to all the AA award inventory. It’s a bit hit and miss searching for AA flights. What route and date are you looking for?

Check on the AA website for availability. If there is availability at lower cost levels IME it should also show on BA, so there may just not be availability.

    Same question twice a week.

Look on AA.com. Has to be a non-stop flight, at what used to be the Saver level which is under 12500 miles.

If you can see that, ba.com should show it. Bear in mind some routes may have zero availablility, some may have 1-2 dates available in the next year.

sorry that should read 12500 and under

I’ve found previously that availability often opens up 3 – 1 months before the travel date. I don’t know if this is AA releasing more seats or Americans cancelling seats they’ve booked speculatively because of the $6 taxes!
