Tesco now giving 720 Avios for a £5 DVD purchase

I wrote a few weeks ago about Tesco Direct and the latest round of ‘150 Clubcard points for pre-ordering a DVD’ deals – see here.

That batch of deals expires today, 15th September.

Tesco has also launched a new list of DVD’s offering 150 points which runs to 23rd September.

Here is the clever bit ….

Some of the DVD’s appear on both lists!  Like our good £5 friend, Scooby-Doo.

Take a look here.

You will see that some of the DVD’s offer 300 points each, and some Blu-Ray discs 400 points each.  Not all of them, but some.

These deals will finish today, as the original batch of ‘expires 15th September’ offers falls away.

The new list, which will still be available after today, has some decent stuff on it as well, such as The Great Gatsby and Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa.

Both scooby doo and smurfs not available now

  • Idrive says:

I think I will pass on this! as i really do not know what to do with them it is not a good deal for me as it would be over 1p cost per Avios, when my average at the moment is 0.6 ! I prefere spending £50 to buy something i really need. Also, if i was to use those miles to book a EU ticket which at the moment sells £39 one way…mmm there is no point! the same award flight would cost to me 5k Avios+85£ at the minimum redemption level!

To get points on the account it takes a few days, not that much 2-4 probably.
I don’t know if multiple buys of the same item will be removed, JUSTIN let us know!

  • Idrive says:
