British Airways launches £1,007 Club World flash sale

Links on Head for Points may support the site by paying a commission.  See here for all partner links.

I have dropped this in as one of the rare ‘middle of the day’ posts because this is a genuinely impressive deal.

If you don’t have your Christmas or New Year plans finalised yet, British Airways has launched a short ‘flash sale’ for Club World.

All participating destinations are just £1,007 per person return.

Note that, whilst the website is headed ‘Take 2 for £2,014’, you do NOT need to travel with someone else.  If you search for just one person it will price at £1,007.

You must travel OUTBOUND between 21st December and 3rd January.  You must return by 11th January.

Here is the list of participating routes:

USA & Canada: Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Baltimore, Chicago, Denver, Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York (JFK, EWR), Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Diego, Seattle, San Francisco, Washington, Calgary, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver.  From Manchester you can also book American Airlines to Chicago and New York JFK.

Interesting. I have Virgin reward flights booked for Vegas during this period. If I can find availability on BA does anyone know if I can cancel Virgin without penalty. Thanks.

    • Raffles says:

You pay a small fee but you will get the miles and the rest of the cash back.

    • Clive J says:

I can answer this myself now. Found availability with BA for the dates I needed (and got an extra day in Vegas) with BA at £1,002. Real easy experience in cancelling the Virgin reward flights through chat function. Got all my Flying Club miles back but forfeited the YQ fees around £300. Great deal, and shows how valuable this site is. Thanks Raffles.

      • Clive J says:

Thanks Raffles, they didn’t tell me exactly how much I would get back, said they would e-mail me. I’m sure they mentioned that YQ fees were not refundable. But if they do take them I may well take your advice and challenge them using the T&C’s. Thanks

        • CliveJ says:

Update on this, just got my refund and you were correct Raffles. The whole lot was returned apart from a £30 cancellation fee. Happy with that.

  • Rohan says:

Damn ! I have already booked
Travel a week ago on similar dates to mumbai . And paid a lot lot more
. Presumably there is nothing I can do . This is rubbish !

  • Ed says:

Cancelled redemption to MEX using 241, rebooked on same dates in the sale – thanks Raffles!

  • Jason says:

NYE on Copacabana Beach, here I come. Crazy prices. Was odd seeing Club cheaper than WT and WT+!

    • Mikee says:

Jason, you will have a blast! Did the same with my girlfriend last year in the BA Sale and it was amazing.

  • Louise says:

Just booked a sneaky last minute visit to see the eldest child at university of Calgary! They wanted just over £1000 club world, just over £2000 for economy
