Starwood Preferred Guest, the Sheraton / Westin / St Regis / aloft / Luxury Collection hotel group, has launched its Spring promotion.

Called ‘Double Play’, it will run until April 15th.

Full details and registration can be found here.

The promotion is very similar to other recent SPG offerings, ie relatively lacklustre:

You earn double Starpoints on stays of two or more nights

Your earn an additional 1,000 Starpoints for every five nights you stay, up to a maximum of 4,000 points.  These nights do not need to be consecutive.

Registration closes on March 31st, two weeks before the end of the promotion, so for safety you may want to register now just to be safe.

There is long list of over 100 hotels which are not participating which you can find here.  Luckily the Sheraton at Amsterdam Schiphol, where my wife will be spending a couple of nights this month, is not among them.  Of the UK hotels, three are not taking part – Le Méridien Piccadilly, The Park Lane Hotel, London and W London – Leicester Square.

  • RIcatti says:

Though it has Double Points element, the promo is less generous than last year’s seasonal Bring on the Nights that lasted to April 30, 2014 2,500 bonus points for every 5 nights.
