Nutmeg Avios

2,400 Avios or 2,500 Virgin miles with £75 of LEGO – Christmas delivery guaranteed

Tesco Direct and LEGO have launched a last-minute deal for anyone out there who still needs to buy Christmas presents.

Until Thursday (22nd December) you will get 1,000 extra Clubcard points – convertible into 2,400 Avios or 2,500 Virgin Flying Club miles – when spending £75 on LEGO from this selection.

This is not as generous as the previous offer back in October where Tesco Direct was giving 1500 extra Clubcard points with £75 worth of LEGO.  Let’s be honest though – getting any sort of deal this close to Christmas is a good result, and if you still need some Christmas presents this is a great bonus.

It will still arrive on time!

This offer runs until Thursday.  That just happens to be the same day as the Tesco deadline for Click + Collect (to your nearest Tesco store) and Next Day Delivery.  The only thing you can’t do now is get an item delivered to your house via Standard Delivery.

In theory there is only one thing you need to buy.  The Star Wars Millennium Falcon for £105.

If you don’t want to spend that much, you could for example get the X-Wing fighter for £75.99.

If you don’t like Star Wars, I can’t help you.

Just kidding… you can find all of the LEGO included on this page of the Tesco Direct website.

Remember to order by Thursday and that you need to spend at least £75 to get the 1,000 extra Clubcard points / 2,400 Avios / 2,500 Virgin miles.   To be honest, this offer is not generous enough to make it worthwhile buying LEGO to resell on eBay but as a solution to a last-minute present problem, it can’t be beat.

  1. Jonathan says:

I note that the x-fighter lego is 60 pounds at john lewis so worth considering which lego set you buy

  2. Tecso have had amazing offers over the weekend with 30% off a number of already reduced sets getting to around 50% off rep. It was possible yesterday morning to get the 30% off and the 1000 points (although a lot of sets have sold out over the weekend, but still some decent ones left)

  3. I would buy the lego Millenium Falcon for my daughter but the problem is that she would insist on playing with it after I had finished building it.

    • Ha ha, brilliant

    • Buy another one for yourself then.

      • John (8:39am): I have an exclusive offer for you as you appear to be getting into the Festive Spirit!

For some reason Mrs Gummidge bought me an xmas pullover at the weekend. It’s a large and has had just the two outings-once to the pub, the second out for a stroll, and then home for a bowl of soup and roll here(bread!). There have been no spillage’s on either occasion.

Said pullover would arrive in pristine condition(label and price tag intact) and free of P&P costs.

Rob will have our email addresses in order to facilitate.

        Worz 🙂 .

    • I had the same problem when I bought my daughter a Lego Sea King helicopter! It’s really rude in my opinion 🙂

      • Anyway Daz, enough of that!

I need to shift this “let it snow, let it snow, let it snow” pullover!

I suppose the pullover isn’t too bad-it’s just the fact that you’re expected to smile all the time you’re wearing the thing! 🙂 .

  4. I’ve got a £10 off X spend voucher – would I need to spend £75 after this voucher, I.e. £85, to et the extra CC points?

    • You would see it on the checkout page after you’d input the code – if you the points still show then you are OK.

  5. Spent most of December getting rid of the lego sets bought in the earlier tesco (1500) promotion. Was going swimmingly until we were undercut by John Lewis of all people !

  6. “if you don’t like Star Wars, I can’t help you!”

    Hahaha, love it! 🙂

  7. I do really wish I was a kid again, I always wanted the toy millenium falcon in the early 80s and was told it was to expensive and babyish, I was 8!

Can’t really justify these bad boys, even though I’d really love to, I just wouldn’t sell them on.

    • Just buy them. I like the Creator lego series. A really enjoyable thing to do over xmas.

  8. I highly recommend the Lego Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS! It’s huge and great as a display model! A ‘bargain’ at just £237 from Tesco (£250 on the Lego site)

  9. O/T check your emails from amex, they are offering £15 of a £25 shop at providing you link AND use some of your amex points, it will work with 1p worth of points!
