  • Mr(s) Entitled says:

Will Tesco Pay+ work in conjunction with points earned on the underlying card, in my case Tesco Premium CC? I can’t see it in the FAQ and I dont want to lose a higher earn and money towards £5000 annual spend.

The offer has been going for a while so I assume someone has a real world experience to share.

    • Liz says:

Yes it works. We had the Premium CC till last Oct then switched to the Tesco Debit Card. So you get a CC pt per £1, 1 CC per £1 for Credit Card spend and 1 CC for every £4 using the app. You need to change your Clubcard number on your account to the one on the back of the credit card if it’s not the same.

  • Matt says:

Another offer ending soon is bonus Avios for each different way of collecting used before the 10th of Feb. I had an email in December about this, though presumably it’s targeted as I haven’t seen it mentioned here?

    • Rob says:

No-one has even forwarded it to me, must be very targeted.

      • Liz says:

My hubby had a similar offer from Avios back in Sept for 250 Avios for using different partners. Had to chase up some of the bonus pts in November. That was obviously targeted as our 2 other accounts didn’t get it. Also had an offer from AerClub for 500 Avios for Shopping online between 30/11 and 7/1 – waiting on pts to post by 23/2. Again targetted to hubby’s account only.

  • Gulz says:

As an FYI, Tesco to virgin conversion are running their promotion of 20% extra miles. My auto convert miles posted on 2nd Feb, and the bonus the following day.

  • Rob says:

    A321 is also short-haul.

Off the top of my head, intra-EU routes from London with long-haul flat-bed planes are Istanbul (on Turkish, 777), Madrid (BA and Iberia), Helsinki (Finnair) and even then not on all flights.

    • Prins Polo says:

I thought Turkish to IST (777) is similar to US style business, mid-haul style, but not fully flat?

      • Leo says:

I think that’s right although occasionally long haul version – but yes I’d bank on it being as you say.

  • jtz says:

The lego deal-I only see 1000 points bonus added, not the 500 even though all items are part of the deal?

    • David says:

      The bonuses are not cumulative.
i.e. If you go above £60 total then you get 1000 bonus (max bonus per order), you don’t get the 500 for going above £30 as well.

      • Anna says:

Yes, you need to submit separate orders to make the most of the offer.
