Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Montreal are amongst the names in the frame. Pittsburgh has just paid British Airways a chunky sum to launch a service to the city next year which may rule that one out, given that the city presumably has a limited budget.
Services would launch in July 2019 as deliveries of 12 new Airbus A321 aircraft – adapted to be able to fly long-haul to the US East Coast – begin.
