How to get free Fast Track security at London Stansted Airport

You can now get free Fast Track security at London Stansted.

Yesterday I wrote about how you can get free Fast Track security passes for Manchester Airport by doing a ‘click and collect’ purchase for the duty free shop.

As Fast Track costs £10 for two, and you only needed to spend £10 at Duty Free, this was clearly a good deal.  So good, in fact, that immediately after our emails went out yesterday they changed the rules.  You now need to pre-order £20 of duty free.

In turns out London Stansted is running an identical offer.  (The two airports share the same owner so it is not totally surprising.)

Via this link, you can get codes for two free Fast Track security passes at Stansted by pre-ordering £20 of duty free items.

Remember that “If the Click & Collect order is not collected, the customer will be contacted and billed for the full cost of the Security FastTrack Pass.”

Has Amex Platinum to “other cards” referral link stopped again?
Cannot see any other card other than Platinum and Green when using my referral link

Everything still showing for me for BAPP on android mobile Roger. Sorry I don’t have my platinum link to hand, will check later as on another device. You might want to try a different browser or device too.

Ok, it was Adblocker causing the issue.

OT I need to book 5 nights in two rooms for 2 adults in a Hilton hotel for a couple of work colleagues. Whats the best way of taking advantage of any points on my account (I won’ t be staying at the hotel). If I book the flexible rate I assume it won’t take the money from my credit card and they will pay at check out or do I book the advance purchase to ensure the spend goes through my credit card?

O/T had my birthday this week. Got email from BA wishing me happy birthday and giving me 2018 avios as a present. First time I’ve been offered this….not complaining 🙂

  • Go says:

Tried booking flights from my BA account for someone else using my credit cards – failed on multiple cars. Tried again using the card of the person travelling – failed. I’ve done both before so isthis perhaps a temporary fault on BA site?

I have 1,000 Miles and More due to expire soon. I’ve looked at Rob’s “orphan miles” post https://headforpoints.com/2017/08/22/how-to-use-small-orphan-amounts-of-miles-and-points-part-2-airlines-and-shopping-3/ but most things I can see to spend are min 3,000 miles and a poor value redemption at that (3,000 for a £10 voucher..!!)

Is there anything obvious I’m missing please for a way to spend 1,000 that I can’t prevent expiring?

    (I don’t have the M&M card).

    Thanks
