Hilton launches the Signia hotel brand – but who is it for?

Hilton has announced (another) new brand – Signia.

Signia Hilton, as the hotels will be called, will be new-build properties which are specifically dedicated to the conference and events market.

This means that each property will have a greater-than-average focus on ballrooms, conference rooms and meeting rooms.

They will also have signature bars and restaurants which are able to cope with larger groups, and all will have a large spa.

Three contracts have been signed to date, all in the United States, with the first Signia due to open in Orlando, Atlanta and Indianapolis.

For those of us in the UK, we can look forward to the first Motto hotel from Hilton in Marylebone next year.  This is the complete opposite of Signia – it is basically going to be glamorous hostel!  More details on Motto are here.
