60 families can join Hilton Honors for a day out at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking

Hilton Honors runs occasional tours of the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, where you can see the Formula 1 and production cars close up.
These trips are expensive (100,000 Hilton Honors points per pair) and during the day, usually during term time. This means they are not great for children.
McLaren and Hilton have now launched a low-cost event especially for families.
Hilton is organising a Hilton Family Day on Saturday 27th July. To quote:
“Join Hilton at their exclusive Family Day event at the McLaren Technology Centre with our McLaren Formula 1 and Golf partners. Hosted at the home of one of motorsport’s most prestigious facilities, you and your family will have behind-the-scenes access to McLaren’s state of the art HQ, as well as life on Tour experiences and golf tips told by Hilton Golf Ambassador and Ryder Cup star Jamie Donaldson.
Your family will have the opportunity to take part in a range of unique experiential activities, including tours of the MTC Boulevard, walking among the historical Formula 1 cars, setting a new time in the Pit Stop Challenge, the chance to test golfing skills on the renowned Hilton Bedroom Chipping experience and to try and beat a pro on the ultimate golfing simulator, plus much more! Your family can also take advantage of a range of food and refreshments on offer throughout the day, as well as a variety of giveaways and prizes to be won!”

There are 60 packages available, priced at 25,000 Hilton Honors points per package. Given that I value a Hilton point at 0.33p, you are effectively ‘paying’ £85 for the full package above for four people. This seems like a good deal to me.
