Hilton Honors releases more tickets for the McLaren Technology Centre family day

A few weeks ago we wrote about the Hilton Family Day being organised at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking on Saturday 27th July, where you can see the Formula 1 and production cars close up.
All 60 pairs of tickets went to Head for Points readers within a few hours of our article going live.
11 additional pairs of tickets have now been made available. Take a look here.
To quote:
“Join Hilton at their exclusive Family Day event at the McLaren Technology Centre with our McLaren Formula 1 and Golf partners. Hosted at the home of one of motorsport’s most prestigious facilities, you and your family will have behind-the-scenes access to McLaren’s state of the art HQ, as well as life on Tour experiences and golf tips told by Hilton Golf Ambassador and Ryder Cup star Jamie Donaldson.
Your family will have the opportunity to take part in a range of unique experiential activities, including tours of the MTC Boulevard, walking among the historical Formula 1 cars, setting a new time in the Pit Stop Challenge, the chance to test golfing skills on the renowned Hilton Bedroom Chipping experience and to try and beat a pro on the ultimate golfing simulator, plus much more! Your family can also take advantage of a range of food and refreshments on offer throughout the day, as well as a variety of giveaways and prizes to be won!”
The package includes (for FOUR people):
Exclusive access to the McLaren Technology Centre on July 27, 2019, between 11:00am – 4:00pm
Tours of the MTC Boulevard to walk among the historical Formula 1 cars
Meet and greet with Hilton Golf Ambassador, Jamie Donaldson
Pit stop challenge
Hilton Bedroom Chipping Experience
The Ultimate Golfing Simulator
Virtual reality experience
Prizes and giveaways
Refreshments and snacks served throughout the event
Return transfers from Woking Train Station
The packages are just 25,000 Hilton Honors points per package. Given that I value a Hilton point at 0.33p, you are effectively ‘paying’ £85 for the full package above for four people. This seems like a good deal to me.
You can redeem your Hilton Honors points for the McLaren family package here. I would jump in quickly if interested as they are unlikely to stick around for long given the demand last time. Whilst I am not there, it is effectively an unofficial Head for Points reader event now.

How to earn Hilton Honors points and status from UK credit cards (March 2025)
There are various ways of earning Hilton Honors points from UK credit and debit cards. Many cards also have generous sign-up bonuses.
There are two dedicated Hilton Honors debit cards. These are especially attractive when spending abroad due to the 0% or 0.5% FX fee, depending on card.
You also receive FREE Hilton Honors status for as long as you hold the debit cards – Gold status with the Plus card and Silver status with the basic card. This is a great reason to apply even if you rarely use it.
We reviewed the Hilton Honors Plus Debit Card here and the Hilton Honors Debit Card here.
You can apply for either card here.
SPECIAL OFFER: Until 30th April 2025, the annual fee on the basic Hilton Honors debit card is halved from £60 to £30. The sign-up bonus is also easier to earn – you need to spend £1,000 either in the UK or abroad within three months. The usual bonus rule requires you to spend the full £1,000 outside the UK.
