What is Bicester Village?

If you’ve never been, Bicester Village is a shopping village with over 160 boutiques located in the heart of Oxfordshire. It is home to leading British and international brands including Belstaff, BOSS, dunhill, Paul Smith, Samsonite, Ted Baker and TUMI.

The village is easily accessible by car via the M40 and offers free parking. It also has its own train station, Bicester Village Station, which is serviced by trains from London Marylebone and Oxford.

Coming from Birmingham you can take the train to Bicester North where you will find a complimentary shuttle service to Bicester Village.

Triple Avios at Bicester Village

Earn triple Avios during the Private Sale!

BA Executive Club members can earn Avios all year round when shopping at Bicester Village.

The standard earning rate at Bicester Village is 5 Avios per £4 spent. During October, you will receive 15 Avios per £4 spent. This includes food and drink spending on site.

You do not need to claim your miles in each individual store you visit.  Instead, simply hold on to your receipts until the end of your shopping trip.

Once you’re done shopping for the day, go to the Village Welcome or Tourist Information Centre and present your Executive Club card (or proof of membership) plus shopping receipts to collect your Avios.

You can find out more about the British Airways offer on this special private sale page of the Bicester Village website.

How do I take part in the Private Sale?

Register here for free to receive your Private Sale code which you need to show at the till in participating boutiques when paying.

(If you already are a Privilege member, you will receive the QR code via email and you can also find it when you log in to your account)

Bicester Village’s Shopping Protocol to keep everyone safe

Bicester Village has brought in various measures to make shopping easier.  Face masks are mandatory inside boutiques and are recommended throughout the whole village.  Shoppers will also have their temperatures measured.  There are hand sanitizing and hand washing facilities available.

More interestingly, as only a certain amount of people are allowed inside each boutique, there is a digital queueing system in place. Simply book a space in the queue via text message and a shopping time slot will be sent to your phone.  The quietest shopping times are on weekdays between 9am to 11am and 6pm to 8pm.  The full set of health measures can be found here.

The Private Sale, with triple Avios, runs from today until 1st November. Don’t forget to register for your free Bicester Village Privilege membership first via this link.

Any feedback on belstaff there? My Barbour has literally fallen to bits (both cuffs are destroyed due to how sharp the zips are when using the internal pockets), so I’m in the market for a new Waxed Jacket

(I’m also quite proud of the fact that the company that makes the material, British Millerain, is based in my home town 🙂 )

Also remember that the up to 30% off is off the rrp price and no the outlet price which is significantly different. Take a look at the lables on each item. There’s also a HIX just opened 5 minutes walk from the closest entrance to the outlet if anyone needs to do a matteress run and have convinient parking at the same time.

The discounts are off the outlet price – got 30% off an item in Prada which was already well discounted. In some of the shops there is a minimum spend to receive the discount.
