As we have covered a couple of times recently, Accor Live Limitless (the loyalty scheme for Novotel, Ibis, Mercure, Pullman etc) is stepping up its UK events programme.
This will offer a real alternative for people who don’t get excited about redeeming their Accor points for hotel stays at a fixed value of 2 Eurocents, or transferring them to airline miles at fairly weak rates.
Accor has a new partnership with the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith. This will allow members to redeem points for concerts, which will come with lounge benefits.
Accor has just launched tickets to see The Vamps on 17th September.
For just 4,000 Accor Live Limitless points, you will receive:
- 2 concert tickets
- Access to the exclusive Eventim Lounge
- 2 drink vouchers per person
This is very good value. 4,000 points would usually get you €80 of free hotel stay or 4,000 Avios via Iberia Plus. You will get substantially more than this from the concert tickets, especially when you factor in the cost of four drinks.
There is no easy way of earning Accor points apart from ‘heads in beds’. If you live near Hammersmith and would be interested in future offers like this, you may want to move a few upcoming hotel stays to Accor to build up a buffer of points.
You CAN transfer points from many frequent flyer schemes and Club Eurostar into Accor Live Limitless, but Avios and Virgin Flying Club are not included – click for details.
PS. Accor has just opened its new Mondrian London hotel on the site of the old Curtain in Shoreditch. The website is here and hopefully we can review it soon.
