Hotel promotions

Here are registration links for the current hotel promotions from the major chains:

Hilton Honors – double or triple points on stays between 3rd May and 6th September – register here

Radisson Rewards – earn 1,000 bonus points per night up to 30th September. You must register before booking. Register here.

World of Hyatt – triple base points on stays of 2+ nights between 20th July and 15th September – register here

Marriott, IHG and Accor are not currently running global promotions.

Accor IS running a double points promotion for Europe until 5th September – register here.

Monday 23rd August

Last day to get 2p per Avios when using them to part pay a cash British Airways flight

Wednesday 25th August

Last day to get a 25% discount buying World of Hyatt points

Friday 27th August

Last day to win 255,000 Virgin Points in our amazing HfP Virgin Red competition!

Tuesday 31st August

Last day to book in IHG’s Summer sale (stay by 30th January)

Last day to apply for the British Airways Premium Plus American Express before the annual fee increases to £250

Last day to apply for the British Airways Accelerating Business credit card before the annual fee increases to £250 (although you may want to wait because the sign-up bonus will be paid in Avios from 1st September)

Last day to register for IHG’s status fast track promotion

Last day to earn double points for stays at Shangri-La Hotels

Last day to apply for the Marriott Bonvoy American Express card to receive the doubled bonus of 40,000 Bonvoy points plus Gold Elite status until February 2023

Wednesday 1st September

The changes to the British Airways American Express cards take effect

Last day to book a Europcar UK rental and get 25 Nectar points per £1 (pick up vehicle by 16th October)

Sunday 5th September

Last day to save 35% on Park Plaza hotels in London with a Radisson sale (stay by 30th September)

Last day to earn double points in Europe with the current Accor Live Limitless promotion – register here

Monday 6th September

Last day for stays to count towards Hilton’s ‘More Nights More Points’ promotion

Sunday 12th September

Last day to get double Avios at Bicester Village

Monday 13th September

Last day to earn 2,000 bonus Virgin Points by activating Tesco Clubcard auto-convert

Wednesday 15th September

Last day for stays to count towards Hyatt’s ‘Bonus Journeys’ triple points promotion

Tuesday 21st September

Last day to book a BA Holiday and earn double tier points (travel by 30th September)

  Feel my pain – I just paid a substantial bill at St Regis Mardavall this morning and won’t get a point more than I am contractually due 🙂
  
  (One upside – they saw my Bonvoy credit card, thought it was the US one which comes with $100 of St Regis credit on every 2+ night stay and said they would deduct $100 from my bill, which they did. Made it worth sucking up the 3% FX fee as I get 6 Bonvoy points per £1 for the spend.)
