The aim of this feature is to summarise flight, hotel and points offers that are ending soon.  Everything listed below has been covered on HfP in recent weeks, but years of experience of running offers for HfP readers has made it very clear that a large proportion like to leave things to the last minute ….

Hotel promotions and ‘buy points’ offers

Here are registration links for the current hotel promotions from the major chains:

  • Hilton Honors – 2,500 bonus points on all stays by 1st May – register here
  • IHG Rewards – double base points (which are elite qualifying) on all stays by 31st Marchregister here
  • Marriott Rewards1,000 bonus points per night and double elite night credits on all stays between 8th February and 4th Mayregister here by 20th April

Accor and Radisson are not currently running a global promotion.

‘Day 2’ travel testing ends for UK arrivals

Sunday 13th February

Last day to get 5,000 bonus Avios when you apply for the Aer Lingus AerClub credit card (Irish residents only)

Friday 18th February

Club Aspire lounge in Heathrow Terminal 3 reopens

Monday 21st February

Last day to earn 2,000 Avios for £1,000 of British Airways spending on your BA Amex card (opt-in required)

Monday 28th February

Last day for American Express cardholders to save £100 on £400 spend at selected Marriott luxury hotels

Last day for American Express cardholders to save £50 on £250 spend at selected Mercure and Novotel hotels

    “Last day for American Express cardholders to save £50 on £200 spend at selected Marriott hotels” isn’t the 22nd February. It’s the 28th February.

    BA Avios Amex spend, if I book something flexible how long afterwards can I cancel without refund losing the points – or should I canx for an evoucher?
