Heathrow to give away 10,000 gifts to passengers this Christmas

Whilst the travel experience may not be too great this Christmas, given the rail strikes (dates in this article) and the Border Force passport control strikes (dates in this article) Heathrow may be able to cheer you up.

The airport will be giving away 10,000 presents to randomly chosen passengers over the Christmas period.

The promotion will be active across all four terminals, and presents will include flights, lounge access, perfume and champagne – all supplied by shops, bars and restaurants in the airport.

If you are approached by someone in the airport who wants to give you something, don’t turn it down! Let us know if you win anything.

Nouvelair boosts Gatwick to Tunisia services

Nouvelair isn’t an airline we have ever covered before, and it isn’t in any major alliance, but I thought it was worth a quick mention as Tunisia is a popular route.

The airline launched its first UK flights this Summer with three weekly services to from London Gatwick to Tunis.

Flights are continuing into the Winter, with two weekly flights to Tunis on Tuesday and Saturday. It is now the largest operator on the London to Tunis route.

The airline has now secured additional slots and will operate four weekly flights from Summer 2023.

Nouvelair is the first privately owned airline in Tunisia. The parent company has operated charted and scheduled flights since 1989, primarily between France and Tunisia.

I will be flying back from Tunis, Tunisia using Nouvelair just after Xmas. A little more confident about the airline, after seeing it mentioned here.
