Accor Live Limitless, the loyalty programme for Novotel, Sofitel, Ibis, Mercure, Fairmont etc, is ramping up its ‘Limitless Experiences’ programme again with tickets for the BST concerts in Hyde Park (search for ‘hyde’ on the site).

This is good news, as the ‘Limitless Experiences’ programme is one way of getting better value for your points than the fixed 2 Eurocents you get when booking a hotel.

The experiences programme is also a win for Accor, since it encourages you to sit on your points and build a balance, rather than redeeming immediately when you hit the 2,000 required for a €40 hotel voucher.

There are three types of package on offer. In order of exclusivity:

The ALL VIP Suite – Premium VIP Hospitality (image above and below)

  • Access to the ALL Suite – a private, fully catered suite with incredible views of the famous Great Oak Stage and seating. This package includes buffet style catering and a selection of drinks including wine, beer, prosecco, spirits and soft drinks. 
  • Dedicated VIP entrance & early entry up to 1 hour before the main gates open
  • Access to the American Express VIP Summer Garden – an exclusive area offering VIP bars, premium food outlets, additional comfortable seating, separate toilet facilities and cloakroom

      You can do Amex to FlyingBlue then from there to Accor. Amex site says 4 days for FB transfer but not sure about the onward to Accor. 1:1 Amex to FB but it’s 4 FB points for 1 Accor (in multiples of 4,000 miles) which is not a great rate…

        I just checked and this is marginally better than Avios to Accor, as the Qatar to Accor rate is 4.5:1 (4,500 miles minimum for 1,000 points)

      About a week – just book an expensive stay at an Accor hotel, pay with Amex and then use points to settle the charge

    Think BST is really struggling this year. Normally the VIP tix sell like hotcakes for any major headliner at BST. However this year’s acts seem to be targeting a different demographic, one that doesn’t go to a lot of gigs, drink or spend a lot of money on premium experiences.

      I was saying the same to my wife last night. Compared to last year (Billy Joel, Springsteen, Guns n’Roses) this seems a bit thin. I thought Stevie Nicks might be a de facto Fleetwood Mac gig but I pulled up the set list from shows in recent weeks and it is 80% solo stuff.

      Interesting that The Eagles are doing five nights in Manchester and nothing here, or indeed in London at all. Blur would also have worked well, or even stick Duran Duran on. You get the high spending middle aged demographic.

    The co-op live venue is partly owned by The Eagles’ manager.

    These rewards went up on the 8th and none had sold out by yesterday (might have changed now).

    I think Robbie had sold out general admission and Stray Kids seemed to have sold most VIP tickets.

    If BST tickets really don’t shift they end up as two for ones on Ticketmaster.

    Despite all this I was very happy to get SZA diamond circle.

    The general mood is that the big acts are doing standalone stadium tours where they take a much bigger profit. For example ACDC has 2 Wembley Stadium dates at the same time as BST. They sold out within seconds of going on sale. Springsteen, Nicks, Pearl Jam etc all doing the same. I usually go to a couple of BST days every summer but this year it is so weak. The fact that Amex as a major sponsor has passed up on this VIP offer to Accor speaks volumes on how ticket sales are going.
