If anyone gets to meet Mr Branson, could you please remind him he owes me for the buffet lunch he helped himself to some years ago at a conference I was holding in Jersey. One of the Virgin companies had an event in an adjacent room, and our buffet was a better and more expensive spread than the Virgin one, so RB opted for ours! 🤔

Perhaps someone can ask him next time he’s on telly demanding that UK taxpayers foot the bill for hurricane damage to his Caribbean tax haven!

Ho hum. I had vowed not to buy any more hotel points but I am hoping for 2 visits to the lovely Kimpton Seafire in 2024 and the choices are pay £800 pn (or considerably more at peak time), or 70k points. Which are a lot cheaper than £800. So even though we already have over a million IHG points between us, plus 2 Creation free nights, I am rather tempted here.

Does buying ihg points count into Amex annual challenge?
