The aim of this feature is to summarise flight, hotel and points offers that are ending soon.  Everything listed below has been covered on HfP in recent weeks, but years of experience of running offers for HfP readers has made it very clear that a large proportion like to leave things to the last minute ….

Hotel promotions and ‘buy points’ offers

Here are registration links for the current hotel promotions from the major chains:

  • Hilton Honors – 2,000 bonus points per stay from 1st May to 5th September – register here
  • Hilton Honors – double or triple base points per stay from 6th September to 31st December – register here
  • IHG One Rewards – choose from 2,000 bonus points for every two cash nights or 10,000 bonus points for every four cash nights, from 6th June to 31st August – register here
  • World of Hyatt – double points, starting from your 2nd stay, on stays between 1st July and 15th September (Americas hotels excluded) – registration is closed

The following hotel ‘buy points’ offers are currently running:

  • Get a 100% bonus when you buy Hilton Honors points by 19th September (buy here)
  • Get a 80% bonus when you buy IHG One Rewards points by 1st September (buy here)
  • Get a 30%-40% bonus when you buy Marriott Bonvoy points by 8th September (buy here)

Friday 1st September

BA requires photo ID for domestic flights from today

Monday 4th September

Last day to get up to 20,000 bonus Virgin Points with a new cash booking

Tuesday 5th September

Last day to earn 2,000 bonus points per stay in the current Hilton Honors promotion

Wednesday 6th September

FIRST DAY for the new double or triple points Hilton Honors promotion (register here)

Thursday 7th September

The adult LEGO Concorde set is released!

Friday 8th September

Last day for a 30%-40% bonus when you buy Marriott Bonvoy points (buy here)

Sunday 10th September

Last day to activate auto-convert from Tesco Clubcard to Virgin Points to earn 2,500 bonus Virgin Points

Tuesday 12th September

Last day to book in the current Radisson Hotels sale (stay by 15th March)

Friday 15th September

Tuesday 19th September

    I have a Hilton booking (points) from 5 to 6 Sept. From trying to read through all the small print, it is not clear to me if the stay falls into either of the two Hilton promotions.
    Any thoughts?
    That said, the last time I found myself bridging two promotions like this, I ended up with both sets of bonus points, which worked out quite nicely.

    And today is the last day to buy Choice Privileges Rewards points at up to 25% off.

    Hadn’t seen this Dates post (didn’t come through by email this morning) so had already put some more details (and thanks!) in today’s forum thread. The buy points link seems to be working again now.
