Iberia cash and reward availability has mysteriously gone from ba.com

For the last couple of weeks, long-haul Iberia flights for the winter 2024 timetable (from Sunday 27th October 2024) have been missing from the British Airways website.
You can work around this in most scenarios but there is always a catch:
Long-haul cash tickets on Iberia:
Good news: you can choose to book on the Iberia website or via an online travel agent
Bad news: only by booking at ba.com will earn you double Avios for paying with your British Airways Premium Plus credit card. Booking with an OTA is also a bad idea because you will find it more difficult to make changes if your flight is changed or cancelled in the next 11 months.
Long-haul reward tickets on Iberia:
Good news: you can still book Iberia Avios seats via iberia.com (if you have an Iberia Plus account) or avios.com (if you have an Aer Lingus AerClub or Vueling Club account). This article explains how to use ‘Combine My Avios’ to move your points around.
Bad news: you can’t use a British Airways Premium Plus American Express 2-4-1 voucher via those websites – you must book on ba.com. You also can’t use Avios in an Executive Club household account if you transfer Avios to Iberia Plus or avios.com, only your own personal balance. You wouldn’t earn double Avios paying the taxes and charges with a BAPP Amex.
I don’t have any insight on when this will be fixed. This HfP forum thread has the latest discussion.
