Virgin Atlantic adds more New York and Boston flights

Virgin Atlantic is increasing flights to two of its most popular destinations: New York and Boston.
Whilst it’s not quite as exciting as a brand new route (let’s be honest, no-one will be excited by more flights between London and New York or Boston), it does mean that Virgin Atlantic’s guaranteed award availability has opened up a lot of reward seats.
You will see two Upper Class, two Premium and eight economy seats available for redemption. If you previously failed to find reward seats for your preferred summer 2024 dates it may be worth checking again.
The additional New York JFK service will be the airline’s seventh frequency, with transatlantic joint venture partner Delta offering an additional three. Boston will increase to two, with another flight from Delta.
Both flights will operate on A350 and A330neo aircraft with Virgin Atlantic’s latest Upper Class seats. Our latest reviews are here:
If you’re on the A330neo, you can also upgrade to the ‘business plus’ Retreat Suite in the centre pair, which come with even more personal space and leg room. You can see Rob’s review of the Retreat Suite here. The cost has risen to £300 since that review was written.
The second flight to Boston starts on 31st May whilst the additional JFK flight will start on 20th May.
