Where should you credit your stays for September 2024?

Remember that, irrespective of the offers below, there is never a single ‘best’ offer.

Some offers require multiple stays to maximise the bonus, which you might not do. Some require stays to be a minimum number of nights before a bonus is earned.

You need to factor in any elite status you have, which will earn you additional status bonuses.

More importantly, you need to be able to use the points. There is no value in earning a large bonus in a scheme where you will never go on to earn enough points to get a free night.

Here are your options:

Hilton Honors current offers

Hilton (Hampton, Conrad, Waldorf-Astoria etc)

Holders of the UK Marriott Bonvoy American Express credit card will receive an additional 2,000 bonus points on each 2+ night cash stay, for a total bonus of 4,000 points. Oddly, this element requires separate registration which can only be done via the ‘Promotions’ tab of the Marriott website when you are logged in.

You need to register in advance of your first stay during the period via the Marriott website here.  Existing bookings count.

The Marriott booking page is here.

Radisson (Park Inn, Park Plaza, art’otel etc)

You can register here.  Our full article is here. It runs until 2nd November.

Importantly, only stays made after you register will count.

You will earn 500 bonus points on your first cash stay after registration, 3,000 on your second stay and 3,500 on your third stay.

And there’s a few weeks left in the “craziest hotel promotion ever” (quoting Rob) GHA 10 brands before 30th September… I checked out of my 10th yesterday (Bangkok Sukhothai) and waiting on my D$1,000.

    • Rob says:

If Plum Guide counted then I would be onto this, having done a Kempinksi and Plum stay this summer, but sadly Plum doesn’t. I think if this had come up when I was in my ‘no kids’ days I would have been all over it.

  • Hilda M says:

I used Plum Guide for a few days in Soho – it counted as one of my 10, just after my stay at the Cafe Royal and before Sea Containers

    • Rob says:

Really? The small print for the 20th anniversary cashback offer says that only hotel brands count, and the logos are shown at the bottom – Plum is not there.

Regent cruises are not meant to count either.

I double checked this the other week because, if I thought Plum had counted, I would have diverted another stay to GHA to get the first of the bonuses …..

I’m not saying you’re wrong, I’m saying that GHA has done a very bad job on the T&C if so.

      • Hilda M says:

Just sent a photo of my Rewards page to rob@ … showing $800 from “Plum Head Office” … and my $1,000 arrived 😀

        • Rob says:

Thanks. Very annoying because this means I’ve actually completed 2/3rd of the tasks to earn $300 but have no opportunity by 30th September to do a third.
