You misunderstand me; this is the other way around. I am not so much judging the scruffy person as observing that I could never be scruffy in the presence of a well-dressed person because, in so doing, I would feel rude. Politeness and respect compel me to match the well dressed people at breakfast. Of course, some people don’t really care if they disappoint others and stridently assert their right to be themselves. You may draw your own conclusion about them.
