Never got to experience the special meal as my flight was cancelled
An agent agreed to reroute me with LH but he royally screwed it up.
Not ideal, how did they screw it up & did you manage to get sorted in the end?
The agreed rerouting over the phone with BA agent was to return me to LHR via FRA with Lufthansa last night. I was instructed to present myself at the Lufthansa check-in at LYS, where boarding passes would be issued. However, the Lufthansa agent informed me that I was booked on a LYS-FRA-CDG route by BA. After a frantic call to BA, I was told that they could no longer get me on FRA-LHR. I was offered the choice of staying overnight in LYS and traveling the next day or spending the night in FRA and taking the 6:40 a.m. flight to LHR. I chose the overnight stay in FRA, as I urgently needed to be in London this morning. I was advised to submit a claim for reasonable expenses for the overnight stay near FRA.
