I would check out that thread but personally I would be rocking up for breakfast and lunch. That’s what I did last time. If you have access I thought AA F lounge does a good eggs royale and plenty of Moet Champagne available. Then head over to the QF lounge to wash down with a nice coffee. Qantas lounge also does their signature Fried Squid.
BA First Dining Room dead? Surely that’s a good thing it being quiet, it’s not a party! But yes give it a try as you’re flying first. I would probably try the mini-CCR over the AA F lounge as that is very busy with a lot of AA flights. Then I’d probably go to Qantas for a good coffee. Then probably CX for some excellent lunch in the dining room.
