Hi. My daughter & her partner (different address to us) want to fly economy to Sydney in December 2025.
They may not have enough Avios to pay for it this December.
Can I add them to my household account (different address) & could they still use their own 2 for 1 voucher?Thanks in advance.
Yes.
They have to use their 241 voucher (i.e. cannot use yours) whereas once in a household account your Avios are their avios and vice versa.
Remember though that avios are taken to pay for the flight in proportion to the number of avios each member of of the HHA has in their individual accounts.
This isn’t a a way of giving them a fixed sum that they are short of.
Although there is a cost, transferring them may be a better method of doing that.

Taking the Avios pro rata from the individual accounts does not need to be a problem.
Work out how many of your Avios you want your daughter to use. Move the excess out of BA (to Finnair or Qatar for example). The redemption will then empty all the BA accounts. Once the redemption is booked and the Avios have been taken, move yours back to BA at your leisure or when needed.
Set up Finnair accounts for both and it can be a clean and cheap transfer. No need to worry about proportionate deductions.
