Hi All, first time poster so please go easy on me. i have tried searching but cannot find the answer. Both me and my partner have individual avios accounts. I have over a quarter million avios, partner has arouns 40000. I have a couple of Barclays cabin upgrade voucher and partner has an Amex 241. The easy question is – are we able to book reward flights using either of the vouchers and whatever points we have combined? i.e. looking to fly first class to LA or similar and then using the 241 voucher. Thanks in advance.
Yes, by creating a BAEC household account (HHA).
The avios will be taken proportionally based on how much you have.
If you want to fly in First, then you have to use the Amex voucher, as the Barclaycard voucher is limited to Business. You would also need to use both vouchers if you wanted to use the Barclaycard ones, so the Amex is an easy choice (unless the Barclaycard ones are expiring soon).
