Ba flight delay comp

We flew to lax a couple of weeks ago in economy (no status) flight landed 3hr 10 mins late as the captain was sick so had to source another one which meant our departure time was delayed Is there a fixed amount of comp due ?

Yes, I believe you should be able to claim £260 if the delay to your arrival time was at least 3 hours.

I don’t think pilot sickness would come under extraordinary circumstances, but that’s not to say they won’t claim it does!
