So wish to travel to BKK in October going out in economy back in premium … have booked QR out under BA flight numbers and BA back on there new direct service

Prices flights on their own online xxxx amount , called BA holidays as couldn’t do multi cabin online . Asked for the flights and added cheapest hotel in bangkok for 1 night to get a package . Price exactly the same as flight only ( infact around 5pp cheaper)

Benefits only have to pay £150 deposit , plus as it’s a BA holiday I’m getting far more avios if I had booked flight only (due to the recent change in avios earning) nearly double , plus bonus avios as a BA holiday

    Win win

Will you stay in the booked hotel in BKK?

No won’t stay but will check in /out we have accommodation booked via Marriott (near to the hotel booked via BA as it goes )

As we will be checking in for hotel we will be adhering to terms etc so no risk if flight being cancelled coming home

I have yet to hear of anyone having their return flight cancelled because they didn’t check into the hotel booked as part of a BA Holiday.

Yes – I think @hugo might be getting confused with the Ts and Cs for the double TP offer.

If you’re not bothered about double TPs, adding a night at an airport hotel which you would be using anyway is a good way of securing BA holiday terms instead of paying up front for flight only.
