Hello,
Does anyone know if BA’s Gatwick 777 fleet has been refurbished with the new Club Suites or not?
Am flying end of February to Cancun – flight BA 2203 and was wondering. Have tried figuring out, even called BA who said that they don’t have that information.
Do let me know if you can.
Thank you,
Igor
The seat map will show you the plane is not CS.
As tontoro said they haven’t and won’t. In very rare cases an LHR 777 may come in to replace a LGW based aircraft, but I wouldn’t be betting on it
I have an upcoming flight from Cancun, upon booking it was CS but this changed to Zig-Zag this week, so who knows!
Only booked BA Gatwick CW to Mauritius because used old 241 voucher from pre covid days. Would never think of paying real money for such an inferior service. It is only when no one books BA CW from Gatwick with cash will they realise they must change.
Some reviews suggest it isn’t terrible.
All perspective for me. I got it on Avios to MRU so I’ll take it and enjoy it. For sure, if you’re paying significant amounts of money, you’d want a better product mind.
For me a window seat in old style club world is just as good as club suite. Less storage but less claustrophobic too, although I appreciate that the awkward face-to-face with a stranger for take-off and landing can be off-putting!

The TV and table alone make it feel like a total ripoff. It’s about 20 years out of date and shouldn’t be in the air IMO.

I admit I’m writing this from a Qsuite, but a table is a table, and take an iPad…

Should I bring my own toilet too, so I don’t have to interrupt the person sleeping next to me? 😶
OP, ask at the gate to try and find a seat that doesn’t have anyone next to it – you’ll still have a grand time I’m sure. Sorry for my negativity.

However displeased I was by my seat, I wouldn’t use my neighbour as a privy
