Forums Payment cards Other payment cards Curve Legacy Black Limits

I’m trying to top up my ISA using the above card, but I keep getting push alerts from the Curve App stating that “The limit of your selected card has been reached. Tap here to select a different card”

The daily limits show as £20k, but it’s being declined even at £10k.

Can someone clarify the limits for me please?

    TIA

Sounds like it’s the underlying card that is declining the transaction.

It’s possible, but I don’t think so. £5k has gone through.

Does this not fall under fronted limits- £10k/calendar month? If you have fronted turned off it will therefore fail to process. I don’t think legacy black exempts you from Fronted limits, it’s just the foreign currency/cash withdrawal ones that you retain.

I’ve never used fronted. I checked the settings and it’s off.
If this was the issue, surely even the £5k would not have gone through?

Who are you depositing this into? A lot of them either block or require metal/fronted to be switched on.

It’s not blocked by the merchant as I’ve made a £5000 payment and now a £4000 payment into them with no issues.
I think it’s something to do with Curve limits, as per the push alert I described earlier.

Is the underlying card a credit or debit?

    It’s a credit card.
