Also on my Barclaycard cashback, but not VS. T&Cs specifically exclude gift cards though.
They may exclude them but it always credits. Their IT isn’t good enough to make the distinction.
10% Morrison’s cashback in-store doing the rounds again (on my VS card) for gift card fans 🙂
Back on Barclays Cashback card too which is irritating as I shopped there yesterday. Ah well, back for an amazon topup at the weekend.
Isn’t the Barclaycard offer for online groceries at Morrison’s only?
@Cranzie not on mine this time, says both in store and online.
Just did my 6 x £250 Airbnb purchases this eve at Morrison’s. Will confirm cash back when it hits in a handful of days and before he offer ends… Confident it will credit as 6 x £25 rebate..used a self serve machine FYI.
Ok…so the cash back has showed as due today 7 Sept, 2 days after being instore…. 6 x £25 rebate.
Just to summarize…
Did 6 separate self-service transactions on 5 Sept. Each with a £250 Airbnb gift card..the tills have now been set up that you type in your own value to a maximum of £250. No need to place anything on the weighing device.
7 Sept the cashback is showing as pending in my VS card App cashback statement.
Morrisons sells their own gift cards (can’t now been used in fuel stations since they have been sold off). They also sell John Lewis, Amazon and my favourite Airbnb (because I book for a friend and I, this works out at 20% discount off my half of the stay.. my finders fee).
YMMV… Cheers! Dan 🙂
First time I don’t see Morrisons 10pc off on my virgin Atlantic card? Does that mean it should appear again soon on Amex?
Does anyone know if the Curve cashback offers stack with card offers. For example I see Harvey Nichols 5% cashback on the Virgin Credit Card and on curve cashback
Won’t work… The underlying card won’t see the true vendor.. no double dipping this way!
Curve has 8% for Sainsbury’s – up to £30 cashback.
So in theory up to £375 GC can be purchased.I’ve got Waitrose 10% over £30 on my Virgin paid card.
12% giftcardstore dot uk on one4all gc. minimum £50. Used many a time so reliable.
Potentially convertible to Amazon, asda, sainsbobs by using the gc at boots/wh smith and getting everywish gcs. YMMV on the latter.

In my (limited) experience, those oneforall giftcards can be a pain in the neck to use – or at least it was difficult at my local Boots to use one to get a different gift card.

I think the trick is not to think of One4All as a gift card.
You can add it to your Apple Wallet etc. And when you come to pay, just say you’re paying ‘by card’ and they process it as if it was a credit/ debit card.

12% is really 10% as giftcardstore show it as a bonus rather than a discount.
£99 value one4all card for price of £89.
Still a good deal though, and you can get a few extra % going via TCB.

You can add it to Apple Wallet full stop, not etc. If using Android you have to use the often flakey one4all app.
Definitely an advantage using an iPhone for one4all cards.
@Toaster, this reliance on wallets baffles me.
Just hand it over at the till and say it’s a Visa Debit card. No apps required. I’ve gone through thousands in O4A cards had no idea there was an app, and never done anything apart from check the odd balance on one by putting in the number on the website. I generally write the current balance on the back of the card in felt tip pen.

That does rely on you having a physical card rather than the digital ones we keep being given at work

My local boots won’t accept one4all physical cards to purchase gift cards. Use apple pay and they are none the wiser.

Same here, tried Argos, Boots and WHsmith and they refuse a physical one4all card to pay for a gift card. Use the app and it’s treated like a regular contactless payment.
I’ve tried GiftCardStore a few times in the last few days, with different payment cards and also PayPal. Each time it goes through the motions, my app approves the transaction (in the case of Curve), and then their website says the transaction has failed. Their helpline wasn’t able to see what the problem is. A bit frustrating, as I want to put £500 through it and the 12% bonus would be extremely welcomed!

Exactly the same problem
Virgin
Curve + MBNA
PayPal + Amexall got declined at the last moment, after the SCA check. My MBNA card (direct, not with Curve) was accepted eventually.

I’ve recently been rejected at Boots and Argos while paying with the O4A app..

How/why? Is it before or after the transaction?
Are they looking at your phone screen? They should not be able to tell from their side, it’s just a debit card.
If they are refusing because they can see the app on your phone, get it all setup before hand and turn the brightness down to minimum.
Was thinking of taking advantage of the 12% bonus offer with Gift Card Store but seems like the the maximum amount per voucher is just under £99. Was thinking of taking advantage of the discount to fund the purchase of a Macbook Air for a Christmas present but the thought of having to present 10 or so vouchers at once is putting me off – anyone had any issues with using multiple one4all cards at once? Thanks.

I can’t even get one to work reliably never mind 10!
