When it was first launched, I believe the redemption rate was pegged at about 45p per point vs the cash rate. I’ve just redeemed for a night in Florence at around 51p per point, so does this mean the rate is no longer fixed? Anyone else had a similar experience?
I would have thought currency fluctuations would have an effect on it.
@Olly I thought for a moment I must have got the worst deal ever, but I’m pretty sure you are missing a decimal point. I made my first Mr and Mrs Smith points booking last week so have nothing to compare it against, but a room priced at $575 was 87,500 points. I make that 0.52p per point.
You’re absolutely right Zio. I wrote in haste this morning but the rate is 51p per 100 points
