Yesterday I submitted a post criticising Uber’s awarding of Avios points for rail and taxi trips. It was posted and received at least two replies. Today it’s gone. Does anyone know why? Is this forum controlled by Uber by any chance?
No the forum isn’t controlled by Uber. It’s a silly allegation to make.
Rob allows a wide range of views to be posted on his site and only removes posts that are defamatory or 109% wrong.

I saw the post. We didn’t deliberately remove it, I promise you.
There may have been a fat finger issue as we were doing some housekeeping on other threads but nothing deliberate.
I’ve heard of this happen before. I believe it’s when the site’s AI cleanup bot recognises a post of particularly low quality so it deletes it to avoid the site’s core readership becoming disengaged. I expect the same will happen shortly with this new post of yours.

If post includes “2-4-1” send post to YYY pre designates thread

That was intended as a bit “tongue in cheek”. I know full well that Uber have no control over this site.
