Apologies if this has been asked before as I couldn’t find it. I have set up my Nectar points to auto convert via the link from the HfP e-mail last week. I have over 1200 nectar points and none of them have converted automatically. Am I being a donut :).
Autoconverts are meant to happen on Mondays so maybe wait until the end of today
Anyone else have issues trying to turn this on? When I follow the link from BA e-mail it says “You’ve been logged out.
You have been away for a while. Please log in again to continue.” I click the Login button and I get a 400 error. If I try and login on shopping.ba.com manually I get an error back from oauth.baplc.com and some links to employee related travel things :S
Can login to ba.com normally though..If I try from nectar.com it says on the page:
Linked with
British Airways Executive Club ***xxxx” which is correct.I then get:
“Oops!
We can’t connect to your
Avios account
There is an issue authenticating your Avios account. To see your balance and start converting points re-connect below”Which results in the same oauth error as if I try and login on shopping.ba.com…

Am I only one to find this a not terribly exciting offer? You have to set up a weekly auto-conversion that will be for 400 Nectar points in each case, but only one entry per month counts. You’d have to have a lot of Nectar points at the ready to feed auto conversion at the rate of 1200 a month for the next 4 months and you still only get 4 entries to win Avios, some of the prizes being for small amounts.
Just has an email saying my nectar points had been auto converted and they have been deducted from nectar and have appeared in my BAEC account
@Londonsteve – the auto convert was for all my points except a small amount that was less than a 400 point multipleMy auto convert worked fine today
+1
My nectar points were converted yesterday but I can’t see them on my ba account . Anyone else ?
Try doing a forced refresh which I had to do to get the total updated but the points showed in the ‘recent transactions’ list.

I set up auto convert for the first time last week and it converted first time yesterday. All smoothly.
I had a bit of an ooops moment today when I realised that ALL MY NECTAR POINTS had auto converted to Avios…WHAAAAT
I thought it was like clubcard where it was only new points earned would auto convert. No great issue as I can reconvert but a bit of a shock!
