New Avios collector – help needed!

I’m after some help with a booking. I’m looking at flying Lon – Sin, open-jaw, flying back from Syd – Lon. I’m heading to Akl from Sin, and so was planning on picking up a one-way flight with Air New Zealand for this leg. There’s 2 of us travelling. I have an Amex Plus Companion Voucher and 260k Avios points. I’ve read lots of threads and I’m still unsure how best to maximise my voucher and points. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

A subscription to seatspy is a must imo as you can see all availability in one hit, set up alerts etc, although the BA voucher does offer extra seats too.

I dont think your open jaw will work as SYD is further away than SIN .

The rules for open jaw are that the land sector must be shorter than either of the air trips, so that works ok, with SIN-SYD being shorter than either LON- SIN or SYD-LON.

You would need to call BA to book an open jaw 2-4-1
