Is there a link to book partner flights please….or is there a ‘fool proof’ way of booking? Thanks.

Which partner? Some you can just book on the website/app, some I think you have to call for.

I think you need to work out when and where and with who, and get on the phone.

    Thanks.

Just spent a frustrating couple of hours…far too complicated.

If you let us know where you would like to go and when then I’m sure some kindly soul would give you some pointers.

Thanks. I was just trying to work out the best way to get to Aus, using any partner/s. Minimum ‘P/E’.

Aus as in Austin, Texas, or as in Australia?

There’s availability showing for Vietnam Airlines from London to Sydney for late September/early October next year – economy, premium economy or business depending on how many points and cash you want to spend. Bookable through the Virgin app/website.

Economy is showing as £495+119,000 points return so not exactly cheap.

Cheers for that….was that by chance/luck, or via some secret way of searching !?

No luck or secret searches. I just entered LON – SYD in the app booking page and selected pay with points. Searching towards the end of the 331 day booking window is more likely to give you an idea of what’s possible before the available seats are taken.

That approach is your best bet for any of the airlines shown in @phantomchickenz second link above as being bookable online.

For the rest you’ll have to call Virgin Flying Club though China Airlines is the only one of the call only airlines that might offer something to Australia. It may be possible to get an idea of what’s available by signing up to their own frequent flyer scheme and doing a search first.

Has anyone managed to book a SAS redemption online? I have checked availability in the SAS website but it isn’t showing on the Virgin site. Is there a limit on how many seats SAS make available to Virgin?
