Hi all we are flying to sao paulo the only thing planned is a cruise from buenos aires back to sao paulo so we have fourteen days in between ,we would like to see iguazu falls and patagonia any tips on which side iguazu and where in patagonia
Many thanks
I was at Iguazu last May and I’m going to be very unhelpful and say both sides are well worth visiting as so different. The Argentinian side is more about walking among the falls, within nature and the Brazilian is more dramatic and good for overall views. I loved both and would kill to go back.
Iguazú taxis from either side to the other are readily available and relatively cheap and easy, and would definitely recommend doing both sides, for which a day would be enough. Nice bird park by the Brazil side entrance too… take a towel in a dry bag, you’ll get wet from the spray, but if it’s summer you’ll be sweating anyway so it’s quite refreshing.
